Also on a Lovecraftian note: apparently one of his friends (who, like Lovecraft, did not drink) expressed the desire to someday try alchohol. Lovecraft responded by writing a short story about a drunken homeless man who dies in the gutter, where the dramatic reveal is that he used to be said friend! He sent that story to him with a postscript reading “Now will you be good?”

Slapped some color on some pencil sketches i did a few weeks ago to finally put together a ref for my Floraverse OC, Coriander.
Cori works as a florist in Dewclaw, having a permit to sell exotic Hellside houseplants to Topside customers. He also enjoys oversweetened beverages, and is
particularly interested in things with recipes and ingredient ratios
(such as potions, perfumes, foods, etc).
His Aura affinity (one of the elements in Floraverse, which tends to focus on
emanation/radiation) is manifested through his pollen, which will cause
the mood of most people who inhale it to shift towards his own. It’s a
passive ability, and largely involuntary.
